Keep candle away from flammable objects, drafts, children, and pets. Do not trim wood wicks! It is normal for the wood wick to change shape once lit. There will be a peak at the center of the wick and the sides will become shorter. Burn 3-4 hours for the first burn to create an ideal wax pool and "memory", which is important for the longevity of your 100% soy candle. Never burn more than 4 hours. Allow several hours to cool before re-burning your soy candle. An uneven surface is typical with 100% soy candles following a burn.
